Mocking AJAX Requests with Postman

Download

Go to the download page and choose your platform.

Set Up

1. Start a new collection

   

2. Give it a name and click Create

   

3. Close the side panel

   

4. Add a request

   

5. Click the arrow next to Save and choose Save As

   

6. Give it a name

   

7. Choose your recently created collection

   

8. Click Save

   

9. Expand your collection by clicking on it

   

10. Click on Tests

    

11. There are snippets on the right with suggestions for various tests

    

12. Write a test

    

13. Run the request by clicking Send

    

14. View the response below

    

15. Click on Test Results

    

16. Check whether or not your test passed

    

17. Do this for several other requests

    

18. Click Runner at the top

    

19. Click the collection you want to test

    

20. Click Run

    

21. Check your results
